Beautiful surroundings with a amazing pool. Unfortunately, noisy street traffic disrupted our stay.

High-class hotel with elegant rooms, great views over the valley. Exceptionally nice and unbeatable location, 5 mins walk from the city centre.

A well-maintained and well-kept hotel in Castillon-du-Gard.

The room showed signs of wear, with tired paintwork and an unreliable shower that flooded the bathroom. The pool had sharp wall damage, and leaves weren't regularly scooped out. The bar prices were steep, with 14 euros for a pint of beer feeling excessive, and the lack of available towels by the pool was frustrating. On top of that, valet parking didn't meet expectations, being late on our final day.

The reasons I'm conflicted
Beautifully restored with a lovely pool area,, and the dining experience was amazing, rivaling Michelin star restaurants.
Service quality was inconsistent,, and WiFi connectivity was annoyingly poor throughout our stay.

The stay was meant to explore the stunning nearby Pont du Gard. The room was spacious with a lovely terrace, although we had to navigate a few steps to the bathroom. I really enjoyed the beautiful pool area and relaxing courtyards, which provided a perfect backdrop for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. the breakfast options left much to be desired, considering the price. it was a good experience, but there's room for improvement in the dining department.

missingWrote a review on 10 Octhot waterdinner options
Absolutely fine surroundings, but would you believe my hot water didn't work? They moved me, but was it really that difficult to fix? Plus, there was the matter of limited dinner options-hardly Michelin star. I also expected a complimentary upgrade for the inconvenience, but sadly had to endure like everyone else. Just couldn't bring myself to leave a good review.

The pool area is fine, perfect for lazy afternoons, and the fine dining restaurant is an absolute gem, offering flavors that danced on my palate. Our room was huge with exquisite decor-who wouldn't want to stay here forever?
While the breakfast was a tad disappointing for the price, everything else still shined. Just a heads-up, the bathroom requires a mini trek up a few steps, so don't forget a torch for those midnight visits!
